I have been running my own business as a caterer for over 35 years and have catered over a thousand functions. As a caterer my service is unique, because it includes much of the party planning offered here. If you are planning to use a hotel, restaurant or another venue with a caterer, I can help with the event coordination service.

As your coordinator, consultant and counsellor you can bounce ideas off me. I will do the groundwork, come up with a range of options, guide you to the right decisions, and then take care of all the paperwork and the details. Start with a consultation, I will build a profile around your requirements. If you would like me to book venues, decorations, theme a party, hold your hand throughout the event making sure everything runs smoothly on the day, I can offer this service. No job is too small or too big! It is hard to imagine all the things that are involved in creating an event - with my vast experience I will help every step of the way.
I have created my own directory of venues, entertainers, florists, musicians and a full range of other suppliers to create your unique event.
Will the flowers arrive on time? Will the hotel lay out the room the way you agreed? What about the place names? Chollah for Hamotzi? Don't under-estimate what has to be done, and much as it is nice to think you can rely on family and friends, on the day they will want to be be partying as much as you. Relax. I will be there all day, in the background, making sure everything runs like clockwork. I will put together a package to suit you, from three main options.
Initial advice session A session of typically 2-3 hours in which I will give you as much advice and guidance as I can. We can discuss possible venues, themes or styles of parties, and I can give you an idea of a typical budget. You may be looking for a range of specialist suppliers, or want to just check that nothing has been forgotten. I will be happy to follow up with individual supplier short-listing and recommendations. Price for the Initial advice session: £100; follow up work by quotation.
Coordination "on the day" I will be at the venue throughout the whole day, liaising with the hotel, venue or caterer, the religious or civic authorities (if appropriate) and all the other suppliers, to ensure that the day runs smoothly from beginning to end. Even after you have left, I can arrange for your flowers to go to the local hospital or home, take care of the presents, even make sure your guests get home safely. Price: from £350.
Full event planning and coordination My full planning and coordination service manages all aspects of the preparation and planning of your event. This includes identifying and short-listing a full range of suppliers, then briefing them, advising you throughout, and full coordination on the day itself. I will often be able to negotiate discounts for you, and these are all fully passed on to you as I do not accept commission. Nothing forgotten, nothing overlooked, nothing left to chance. You can concentrate on your guests - and on enjoying yourself at your party! Price: from £1,500.
